Monday: Super-Weird Disaster Pasta
Now that we're dealing with shortages, and it is unclear which items will suddenly become unavailable at the grocery store, I am responding like a prairie wife. Based on a recipe from a very good Italian-from-Italy cook, the mother of my friend, Sara, and without possessing a rolling pin, I attempted to make pasta from scratch. It looks weird, as you can see, and I melted some margarine and added a little salt. It actually tastes pretty good, and the pasta is so fresh. It cooked much faster than pasta-from-a-box, although the thickness is uneven.
