My February Vacation! Part III

I took the train to Florence, and then a smaller train to the country. I went to my hotel, which was also a farm that makes olive oil, and produces their own pork. You can see the bruschetta I ate there, and the outdoor seating.

My friend, Sarita, invited me to her parent's house for a home made dinner. Her mom picked me up and we went to the local spa in Monsummano Terme - we went to a thermal cave (not pictured here). For dinner, there were about 5 courses to the meal - one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. She handmade the pasta from scratch using squid ink!
